There are lots of Supercars drivers taking to the mountain this weekend, including defending Champion Shane Van Gisbergen, who looks to retain his title this year. Craig Lowndes and Jamie Whincup have teamed up once again, but this time for Maranello Motorsport, at the wheel of a Ferrari 488 GTB, while Will Davison is at the wheel of a McLaren for Tekno Autosport.

There is also internationally known talent in the field, such as former Formula 1 drivers Timo Glock, Ivan Capelli, Tomas Enge and Pedro Lamy. They are joined by other talent such as former Nissan GT Academy winner Jann Mardenborough.

So far in the race, there has been tons of action, with bonnets trying to fly off cars everywhere, lead changes galore, a fair few crashes, and as a result of the last point, Safety Cars aplenty.

With 35 minutes to go, Whincup and his Maranello Motorsport team leads from Shane Van Gisbergen in his Mercedes.
