Reports are coming in that McLaren’s 2017 challenger, the MCL32, and its much-hyped livery, have been release online, a week before the launch of the car.
It has been teased by McLaren that their new car will contain orange on it, however, McLaren theirselves have come out and said that these images are not the final livery, and therefore may just be a hoax created by a excited (and very talented) fan or early iteration of the car.
Photos posted, allegedly of the soon to be launched MCL32, though McLaren have denied that this is the car.
However, with that being said, Zak Brown has gone on record saying that fans will be “excited” by the new livery when the car is actually released, and that it will have an unconventional design.
Personally, I feel it would be great to see an orange livery in Formula One again. It has been a long time since a team raced in orange, with Arrows being the last people to use an orange livery in a race. McLaren have also used orange test liveries before, but have not raced with it for decades.
Sauber will get the ball rolling for 2017’s car launches on the 20th of February. Click here for more.
