Sebastian Vettel has claimed yet another day at the top of the timesheets for Ferrari, with a time of 1:19.024. This time was set on ultra-soft tyres, and was three tenths ahead of Lewis Hamilton in the Mercedes.

Today was also a day where many teams managed to get in a lot of laps, with Williams leading the way with Ferrari, Force India, Sauber, Mercedes and Red Bull all passing the 100 lap mark.

Jolyon Palmer and Renault had a bad day today, stopping on track with 90 minutes to go. McLaren again had problems in testing, with Vandoorne losing time due to electrical issues. It has been a forgettable testing period for McLaren, and it doesn’t help that Fernando Alonso has ripped into Honda for the quality of their V6 engine as well.

With one day of pre-season testing left, McLaren need to get their act together very quickly.

However, on a much faster note, can the drivers get into the 1:18’s before the end of pre-season testing tomorrow?
