The German will not take any further part in today’s race, handing Antonio Giovinazzi his F1 debut for Sauber.

The Swiss team confirmed on their official Twitter account that Wehrlein would not continue with his racing this weekend after feeling unfit in practice.

This therefore hands GP2 runner up Antonio Givoniazzi his Formula 1 debut, where he will drive FP3, Qualifying and the race tomorrow.
